GHOREPANI POON HILL GHANDRUK TREKKING 12 DAYS IN NEPAL
The Ghorepani trekking is also known as Ghorepani Poon Hill trek and it by far most popular trekking route in Nepal. Poon Hill is said to be the best view point for Ghorepani treks from where you will see the beautiful scene of sun rising and thus every trekker prefer to go there early in the morning. In the Annapurna region, you will be surprised to see the amazing views of the peaks and you get chance to explore many ore things there. In the short time, you will see many mountains having height more than 8000m such as Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna (I) as well as other less then 8000 meters higher mountains including Annapurna south, Machhapuchhapure (fishtail), Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli and with a maze of other peaks slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes.

The trek starts just north of Pokhara which means we should begin Ghorepani trek from Dhampus phedi, also known as Surkhet phedi via Nayapul and beni bazzar. You will enjoy the Ghorepani Poonhill trek as the region start offering spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by local Gurungs, dense rhododendron forest full of birds and deep subtropical landscape. Those who are the true lover of natural beauty and worship the charm of the nature, this trek can be the best option. You come across mountain views, culture and people of Annapurna region. Short and long itinerary are easily arranged for Ghorepani Poonhill trekking as per the request of the clients. Those who have short holidays they can trek via Nayapul and return the same route. And those who prefer to make a longer trek can pass through guring hill continue trek to Ghnadruk and the trek ends at Dhampus phedi. Next day, we drive to Pokhara and catch a flight for Kathmandu. we do recoomend the Ghorepani circuit trek for it offers the best panoramic view, local gurung culture and no ne to return the same route.
Some trekkers begin Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking via Dhampus phedi and the trek ends at Nayapul or near Beni bazzar. If you start the trek from Beni bazzar, it will be nice for you to see natural hot springs in Tatopani and take a bath in a natural hot spring. Ghorepani Poonhill trekking is also possible to organize in tea house basis or camping as per your demand. You find several tea houses in many places in the trail and therefore you need not to worry about food and accommodation in the tea house lodges. It is cheap if you go to the Ghorepani poonhill trek in tea house basis in comparison to camping tent camp trekking for in the camp trekking, we need to bring all the food, camping equipments and required staffs from Kathmandu.

Arrival in kathmandu:
Upon your arrival at international airport, After the completion of Visa formalities you have to come downstairs to collect Luggage and proceed to outside from terminal Building. Please look at your Printed Name and Our Company Signboard Annapurna Foothills Treks & Exp and follow them. Meet our representative you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. You should clear your dues before we proceed for the trip. You are free to relax or explore around the city in the very first day. |

Sight seeing kathmandu:
After breakfast, we visit Bodhanath, the Stupa of a Million Dew-Drops. We circumambulate the stupa with monks and devotees. then we Visit Pashupatinath , Nepal 's most sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the destroyer. We watch Hindu cremation along the banks of the Bagmati River . After visiting Pashupatinath, we drive to Bhaktapur - the City of Devotees . There is a one big museum in Bhaktapur which is famous for temples, palaces and houses dating back several centuries. Drive back to Kathmandu . Overnight stay at hotel |

Kathmandu – Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara (900 meters) for 7 hours by tourist bus. Trekking staff will come to your Hotel early in the morning at 6:30AM to pick you up then leaving around 7:30AM to Pokhara. Overnight stay at hotel. |
04 | Drive to Nayapul (1010 meters) and trek to Hile(1400 meters) for 3 hours. We begin our trek at Nayapul after 1 hour driving by private vehicle from Pokhara. After 15 minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015 meters), a large village that has many shops and teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhudhigandaki Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m. Overnight stay at guesthouse. |

Hile to Ghorepani (2840 meters)
Hile to Ghorepani (2855m.): A steep ascends up to Ulleri and gradually ascending up to Ghorepani takes about 7 hours. You will walk whole day through dense forest of Rhododendron , oak trees and bamboo grooves watching beautiful rhododendron and orchid flowers. You will certainly enjoy the chipping birds and butterflies. Overnight stay at guesthouse. |

Ghorepani to Tadapani: 2610 ( meters)
Wake up early in the morning 0500 hrs for the excursion to Poon Hill (3200 m), you can hear the sounds of trekkers preparing for the pre-dawn assault on Poon Hill. Take great care on the path up the hill, as it can be slippery in places. It takes about an hour to climb the top. As the sun rises, the views are literally breathtaking, a wide Himalayan panorama stretching from Dhaulagiri 8167m (the world's seventh highest peak) to Manaslu 8156m (the world's eighth highest peak) in the east, with the mighty Annapurna range in between them. Then come back to Ghorepani, have breakfast & start the walk towards Tadapani. The walk to Tadapani passes through the forest of Rhododendron and several ups & downs & reaches in Tadapani. Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940 meters)
Tadapani to Ghandrung (1951m.): This day is simply the short day downhill trekking all the way to Ghandrung a beautiful Gurung village with its rich culture and tradition. Ghandruk to Pokhara:
Trek to Nayapul (1010 meters) and drive to Pokhara. Today, we are going to end our trek at Nayapul after a short drive back to Pokhara. We stay overnight stay at hotel. |

Pokhara city tour.
Your sightseeing trip will start at 9 AM in the morning after breakfast. Places we visit are Fewa Lake , Devi’s water fall, Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement and Gupteshower cave. You will have relaxing time in the afternoon. We stay overnight at hotel. |

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning, transfer to pokhara tourist bus station for driving back to Kathmandu and it takes around 6 hours, check in Hotel in Kathmandu , overnight stay at hotel. |

Kathmandu city tour.
After breakfast, our city guide will come to the hotel with vehicles and then we leave hotel to visit Kathmandu Darbar Square, the house of living Goddess Kumari, the ferocious Kal Bhairab. Then we visit the 5th century Swayambunath temple with its characteristic Buddha eyes that keep a protective watch over Kathmandu Valley. Better known as the "monkey temple", pilgrims climb up the 365 steps to the temple. This climb is optional. Then we drive to the Patan Durbar Square for lunch, followed by a tour of the ancient Palace Square and temples. At the end of the day, we even go to visit Tibetan Refugees center at Jawalakhel if time permits. Then we return to hotel and you are free until the dinner is served. Tonight, attend a traditional Nepali dinner accompanied by a cultural program that presents glimpses of colorful Nepal. (Culture program), overnight stay at hotel. |

While doing trek in the khumbu region, we will witness the different views of mountains such as Kwangde, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, the "horse saddle" of Kanteiga and of course the summit of Everest itself. We take a short rest for a while and it allows us little time for acclimatization. Here, you prepare yourself to explore the ascent of kalapatthar which is an altitude of 5545m. While climbing down from Lobuche, you will see some glacial moraine until the peak comes into view. Finally, you will be witnessing the north face of Mt. Everest . We return through a different route through Panboche to Lukla. We catch a flight for Kathmandu from Lukla.
