Ngima Nuru Sherpa who was born in Eaten Park Nepal, in the small and remote village of Hewa 2600m from sea level, which is located in the Solukhumbu district of the remote area of Mount Everest region. He is the founder and Managing Director of Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. He has been working tirelessly in this field for 12 years now. As a trekking (Himalayan) guide, he is very experienced and has successfully led treks over all the major trekking routes in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim.

Ngima started his career as a tourist guide a decade ago. He has accumulated a good experience while working with the people across the globe. Now he has been successful to earn good name and fame in this industry. Before starting his own company, he worked with several reputed company in this sector. He has traveled a long journey to reach in this stage.

Ngima has successfully completed many trekking and first aid training courses. He is still exploring different new destinations and enjoys introducing new routes for the clients.

He is optimistic cum positive thinking person with the vast knowledge and boundless enthusiasm in this industry. This has enabled him to organize many successful treks.

He spent his entire childhood in Hewa. Being a son of the farmer, he started working from early childhood. It was very challenging to strike a balance between work and study at that time. Nevertheless, his strong determination to acquire education didn’t wither. And he became successful to complete his general education in Hewa vilage.

He has been leading many treks, tours and adventure holidays since 2000. He has specialized in treks and tours through out Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim. Ngima has a deep passion for nature and its exploration. His love for nature helped him to be a successful entrepreneur in this industry. He loves to share his knowledge and experiences with others.

He has led many trekking groups in the Himalayan mountain range and he feels proud to declare that he never failed to guide his clients to the top of several 5500m plus mountains.

He came in Kathmandu at the age of 15. He looked for a job for survival and to continue study. His family background was very poor. His early days in Kathmandu were really difficult and he had to struggle a lot to survive. Not having a food and no rupees in packet, sharing a small room with 4 other friends and worrying about where every rupee was to come from for the fees at Tuition were some of the painful circumstances he experienced. He didn’t stop working hard despite these daunting obstacles and now he owns the company. He is happy that he is able to provide employment opportunities to many people.

He has learnt a lot during past 12 years. He accumulated a good understanding regarding the need of the international travelers. He has got a good knowledge not only in trekking business but also on Himalayan region, local tradition and culture and different religion.

Chhongba Sherpa

Mountaineering guide

Chhongba Sherpa is born in Everest region of Solu khumbu district. From his early childhood, he has nurtured a dream to become a good mountaineering guide and trek operator. He worked hard to make his dream come true. He is a person of dedication. He has natural instincts of tourist guide. He is well trained cook for our company and he loves cooking delicious outdoor meals in the camping trek. He has been working with the several companies since 1990 as a Sherpa staff and kitchen helper.

He has got a learning attitude. He is hard working guy and he works with passion and motivation, no matter whatever task he undertakes. He takes care of everything and he is a good team worker as well.

He is a trekking guide and he had taken trainings from ministry of tourism. He has acquired trainings on first aid and altitude sickness. He gives high priority to the satisfaction of the clients.

Gelju Sherpa

Mountaineering Guide

Gelu Sherpa is a very energetic Climber guide who is the permanent resident of Solukhumbu district. He has got 21 years experience in this field. He started his career in this field as a porter and kitchen boy. He got promotion as an assistant guide due to his dedication and hard work. He has got good English language fluency. Now he is 41 years old and shares his experience with the new comers. He has been successful to scale numerous highest mountain peaks of Nepal. He has got a license from Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) as climbing guide.

Kanchha Sherpa

He is a young dynamic person and posses a sound experience in trekking and mountaineering sector. He has been an asset for our company and his commitment to bring a close cooperation to every visitor is his remarkable point. Besides this, he also has a good experience of organizing exclusive tours in Tibet.

He has got a deep passion of exploring and experiencing the splendid scenery of the remote and less visited sites. He strongly holds the opinion that nature speaks itself how wonderful the world is and thus he takes pleasure in preserving the nature.

Mingmar Dorji Sherpa

Mingmar is a very responsible and professional trekking and mountaineering guide. He started working in this industry at the age of eighteen. He worked as a porter couple of years and then became a trekking guide. He was brought up in the lap of Himalayas and therefore he has got the good knowledge of mountains, local people and culture and flora and fauna of course.

As a certified licensed guide, he has taken many trainings and he is well aware of the environmental issues in Nepal. He has got six years experience in this field. He feels happy to meet with the people across the globe.
